Gaur Gopal Das Gives Advice On How To Look For A Life Partner

During the Sunday Brunch, Curly Tales, Senior Anchor and Producer, Bianca Saurastri asked Gaur Gopal Das, how to choose a life partner. Gaur Gopal Das hilariously exclaimed, “What a question to a monk, right!”. The Indian monk then said “When you’re looking for a life partner, there has to be a balance of the head and the heart. A heart that beats and connects so deeply and resonates so deeply with an individual.”

He goes on to add that he has seen a lot of people choosing their life partners with just their hearts and not their heads. This has led to disasters. “Compatibility wasn’t checked, how they gel with each other wasn’t checked, just the heart”, says Gaur Gopal Das. The Indian monk also adds, that on the other hand, there are people who choose a life partner with just their head. They go by the kundali (horoscope), finances, family status etc. But people don’t feel emotionally connected with their partners.

A Balance Of The Head & The Heart

Gaur Gopal Das then says, “If you ask me, the bottom line of any relationship has to be the hearts should resonate with each other. Of course if the heart is connected but the compatibility absolutely doesn’t work, then you can’t just follow the heart too. So, I would say it’s a balance of the head and the heart. A heart that connects, and a head that thinks and reasons because it’s a lifelong relationship that you are looking at. And you want to avoid any potential heartburn, and you want to avoid any potential issues that may arise in your relationships.”
