What Else?

We suggest tickets be purchased a week in advance at ONTC in Deira bus stop near Caravan restaurant. There are 2 bus transport services namely, Mwasalat & Al Khanjary. We chose to take Mwasalat, Oman’s national bus service. Bus timings are 7:30 am, 3:30 pm and 11 pm. Visa cost for GCC residents is AED 50 & can be purchased through the Evisa website. The bus journey should take 6 hours so stock up on some snacks & fluids. The exit stamp at the Dubai border costs AED 35. If you fall short of knick-knacks then don’t fret, there’s a shop at the Oman border for a quick snack. The bus stops at 5 locations after the Oman border, namely Sohar, Barka, Mabellah, Sahwa & finally at Azaiba.
