Swiggy Dineout Introduces Order-in-Cinemas Service
Swiggy Dineout now wants you to enjoy your favourite food in the theatre without leaving your seats, and that’s why the Order-in-Cinemas service has been launched. This service has been launched in partnership with multiplex chains Cinepolis and Asian Cinemas. Swiggy Dineout has partnered with two point-of-sale (PoS) aggregation platforms to make the service possible. These include Impact, operated by UFO Moviez, and Showbizz, a cinema software provider. The company is also working to bring more PoS aggregators onto the platform. meaning
If you want to try this service, simply scan the QR code placed inside the cinema hall. You can then browse the food menu on the Swiggy Dineout app, choose what you want, place the order and make the payment. Your food will be delivered straight to your seat.

The Swiggy Dineout app will now not only offer food details, but by collaborating with cinemas, it will also allow customers to check other show details. Users can find trailers, posters and links to book movie tickets. They can also check information about special screenings, events and promotional offers.
Also, cinemas can use the Swiggy Dineout app to suggest personalised food combinations and promote additional offerings to customers. The new service aims to save moviegoers from standing in queues at cinema concession counters during screenings. It also gives cinemas another way to encourage customers to spend more on food and beverages during their movie visits.
