The International Indian Film Academy was about to host the event in Abu Dhabi Yas Island event this month. But due to unfortunate circumstances, the death of the president of UAE, the event was sadly called off. The event is now rescheduled for June and the official dates are out. The IIFA award show was to return to UAE for the first time after 2006.
Where Will The Even Take Place In The UAE?
The 22nd edition of the IIFA is all set to take place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June, with Bollywood actor Salman Khan on the hosting podium at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. You will witness the most glamorous award presentation, where the glitterati assembles, and the stars shine. Prepare for a weekend full of Indian Film Industry music, movies, fashion, and culture. Multiple events and activities will occur to commemorate and welcome the Indian film industry.

More information regarding the revised schedule will come out soon. Customers who bought tickets and packages will receive further information from the organising companies. IIFA cancelled the festivities in 2020 and 2021 because of the Covid-19 outbreak, the most recent IIFA event was held in Mumbai, the birthplace of Bollywood.
Covid Requirements For The IIFA Awards
