Imagine Dragon’s Dan Reynolds Loves Indian Food, Promises To Return Soon

With a rousing performance by the American pop-rock band Imagine Dragons, day one of the first Lollapalooza India festival came to a joyful conclusion. Lead vocalist Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon, bass player Ben McKee, and drummer Daniel Platzman are part of the group. They sang their top-charting songs, including Radioactive, Demons, Believer, and Thunder, for their Indian fans, making the wait worthwhile. But, while they have set the stage on fire with their song, know what the lead singer Dan Reynolds has to say about Indian food!

Imagine Dragons vocalist Dan Reynolds entered the stage in his shirtless avatar as the pop-rock group’s hour-long concert came to a close and introduced the song. The large crowd at the arena went berserk along with him as he sang the lyrics, “My patience is waning. Is this entertaining?” But do you know what Dan loved in India except for the energetic crowd? Well, it’s our food!

The artist told the audience how much he appreciated the crowd’s enthusiasm and thanked Indians for sharing their “absolutely amazing” food.

Day two of the festival features performances by The Strokes, Prateek Kuhad, Divine, and others. Day one of Lollapalooza spotlighted Imagine Dragons, Japanese Breakfast, Greta Van Fleet, and the Punjabi musician A.P. Dhillon, who sent the crowd into a frenzy along with his fellow Punjabi singer Shinda Kahlon.

Before AP Dhillon’s eagerly anticipated performance, the audience cheered as soon as the microphone check was heard. It was eventually Dhillon’s turn to dazzle the crowd; he quickly became one of the generation’s most prominent pop artists. As Imagine Dragons —with Dan Reynolds as the lead singer— was the closing act and drew large crowds, their performance overshadowed all other performances at the venue.

At one point, Mumbai Police officers who had been stationed inside the venue to manage the crowd were left trying to hold the threads of the security fabric as the groups grew larger with each song by Imagine Dragons. People of all ages, including seniors, children, young adults, and adults, were in the audience.

We hope Imagine Dragon and Dan Reynolds return to India with another smashing performance! If you attended the concert, let us know how it was in the comments!
