How is the weather at your place? Is it raining or is the temperature too high to bear? Right now, different parts of India are experiencing different weather patterns. While monsoon has entered and started to create chaos in many states, others are still affected by heatwaves. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted weather updates and issued alerts for heatwave and rainfall.
IMD Predicts Heatwave Conditions In These Indian Places

Several locations in Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh are expected to face heatwaves on June 7, according to a report by Business Today. Not only on Friday but the heatwave predictions by IMD also look similar for the next couple of days. According to the department, there are chances for heatwave to severe heatwave conditions in different areas in Uttar Pradesh from June 8 to 10.

Also, heatwave conditions are expected to hit isolated pockets of Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Jharkhand, Punjab, and Odisha from June 8 to 10. Ahead of severe weather conditions affecting several places in Uttar Pradesh, IMD has already issued an alert. The alert has been notified from June 8 to 10.
The temperature is already high in Bihar and Odisha and hot weather and humidity are predicted to continue in isolated areas of both states on Friday. Right now, the weather is very humid in West Bengal. According to the IMD forecast, this state is likely to experience similar weather for the next few days too. If you are currently in West Bengal, expect humid conditions till June 10.

What Are The Predictions For Rainfall?
While many states are waking up to intolerable heat, a few states are likely to enjoy respite from it. IMD’s predictions state heavy rainfall in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and West Bengal in the upcoming few days. On Friday, Rajasthan may witness hailstorms and gusty winds of 60 kmph.
Along with downpours, there are chances of thunderstorms in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, and West Bengal till June 11.
