In Maharashtra, many tourists arrived at Vandri Lake Waterfall in Palghar district. It is one of the famous spots to enjoy nature during the monsoon season. X user Road Life Updates (@roadgangsters_4) shared a video of the incident. In the video, tourists can be seen enjoying their time and getting wet in the waterfall. However, what was supposed to be an amazing experience soon turned frightening.

The video mentioned, “When fun turns into a horrible situation in 2 minutes.” The water suddenly rose, and the strong flow made it difficult for people to move. In the caption, the social media user mentioned that several women and children were also present. The footage shows men, women, and children trying to reach safer ground. Many of them hold onto each other for support as they try to move through the rising water.

Locals Step In To Rescue Tourists 

Fortunately, local residents acted quickly. They stepped in to help the tourists and worked together to guide them away from the dangerous water flow. Their timely efforts ensured that everyone reached safety before the situation became more serious. The social media user thanked Pravin and other people who stepped in to help.

The tourist posted the video to spread awareness about the dangers of visiting such places during the monsoon. The video shows why it is important to avoid visiting waterfalls during heavy rainfall.
