A new set of guidelines for work from home (WFH) in businesses across the nation were released on Tuesday by the Union Commerce Ministry. The Department of Commerce has issued a new rule 43A with respect to Work From Home (WFH) in Special Economic Zones, 2006. According to the Centre’s official announcement, the new SEZ regulations were released in response to several requests from employees.
WFH For A Period Of One Year
Work from home (WFH) is permitted for a maximum of one year in a special economic zone unit and can be increased to 50% of the total workforce, according to a new set of guidelines for WFH that the Union Commerce Ministry released on Tuesday. The Commerce Ministry’s notice states that the rules were created in response to industry requests for a national uniform WFH policy across all Special Economic Zones (SEZs). For a specific category of employees of a unit in a SEZ, the new rule permits working from home. For WFH to conduct authorised operations of the units, SEZ Units will offer equipment and secure connectivity, and the authorization to remove the equipment is concurrent with the authorization given to an employee.
