Gaurav Gera Believes In Manifestation Too! Shares How Things Always Worked Out For Him

When Kamiya Jani showed up at Gaurav Gera’s Oshiwara home for a Sunday brunch episode, the spread was anything but ordinary. There was doodh soda, chai, Punjabi kadhi and the kind of home-style hospitality that instantly changes the mood of a room. But somewhere between the first sip and the last bite, the conversation moved to something more personal: luck, timing, faith and the strange mathematics of success.

Gaurav Gera Reveals How Manifestation Shaped His Career

Gaurav Gera spoke about something he takes seriously: manifestation. Not in the trendy, hashtag sense of the word, but as a real belief that sincere prayers travel somewhere. He said his connection with God has always felt direct, and that many things he has asked for eventually found their way to him.

He went back to the year 2000, when he landed his first television show, Life Nahi Hai Laddoo. You could tell from the way he described it that he still remembers that role fondly. It fit him naturally. 

The show, however, didn’t stay long. It wrapped up in five to six months. For someone just beginning, that kind of short run can feel like the floor disappearing. But Gaurav didn’t narrate it like heartbreak. He narrated it like an unfinished sentence. He remembered praying and believing that something bigger was still pending, still somewhere on the same slate of life.

Three years later, it arrived as Nandu in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. The character clicked and the show exploded. Gaurav acknowledged both with visible gratitude. Kamiya Jani, our editor-in-chief, pointed out that the series felt miles away from the saas-bahu wave dominating television then. It had its own identity, its own energy, and it left a serious mark on pop culture.

Gaurav Gera’s Thoughtful & Refreshing Take On Success

Then came the most revealing part of the conversation; Gaurav’s thoughts on success. Most people pray for it instantly, massively and dramatically. He says he did the opposite. He remembered telling God, in essence, “Don’t give me too much success too fast, as I won’t be able to handle it.”

That honesty says a lot! Gaurav believes success carries its own intoxication. It can distort judgment, inflate ego and confuse priorities. Some people enjoy the high and lose themselves in it. He knew that risk and didn’t romanticise it.

So instead of wanting one giant spike, he wanted a graph that climbs steadily. He wanted growth that lasts, arrives in stages and lets a person stay sane while receiving it.

In an industry addicted to instant breakthroughs, that may be the rarest ambition of all.
