The latest episode of Sunday Brunch with Kamiya Jani had all the usual ingredients: good food, easy banter, and celebrities accidentally exposing the one thing they absolutely cannot say no to. Sitting across Kamiya Jani were Sara Ali Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rakul Preet Singh, who may now follow disciplined diets and workout-heavy routines, but the moment comfort food entered the conversation, all that restraint disappeared.
Sara Ali Khan Says Sarson Ka Saag Is Her Ultimate Weakness
Kamiya Jani, our editor-in-chief, asked the trio about the one dish capable of breaking their self-control. Sara Ali Khan did not even pause before answering, sarson ka saag and makki di roti. Ayushmann and Rakul immediately jumped in, half-surprised, because in theory, that sounds like one of the healthier Indian meals out there. Sara laughed and explained that the problem was never the dish itself; it was the way she ate it.
And honestly, the picture she painted sounded impossible to resist. Hot makki di rotis loaded with white makhan melting straight into them, extra spoonfuls of ghee, pieces of gudh on the side, and bowls of saag eaten like it was peak winter in Punjab. Then came the real finishing touch of gobi shalgam ka achar.
So yeah, it was not the carefully portioned version people post online while talking about “balanced eating,” but the full, unapologetic desi spread most people grow up fighting over at the dining table.

Falooda Kulfi Breaks Ayushmann Khurrana’s Self-Control
Ayushmann’s answer went in a completely different direction. For him, it is falooda kulfi, the kind sold at old dessert shops where one bite instantly reminds you why diets fail in summer. Thick kulfi, chilled rose-flavoured milk, slippery falooda sev, basil seeds and nuts, it is more like a sugar-loaded event. It is cold, sweet and ridiculously satisfying.
These were not celebrities pretending they survive only on salads and protein bowls. For a few minutes, it was just three people talking about the foods they genuinely lose control around, the kind connected to childhood, family dinners, road trips, and second helpings you regret only much later.
