The latest episode of Sunday Brunch had all the ingredients of a proper Punjabi afternoon. Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali arrived with actors Sharvari Wagh and Vedang Raina, fresh off working on their upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga, much of which was shot in Punjab. So naturally, the table wasn’t filled with salads and small talk. It was a full Punjabi spread, the kind that instantly turns an interview into a family gathering!
Vedang Raina Reveals Sweet Story Behind His Photo With Alia Bhatt
Somewhere between bites of food and stories from the set, Kamiya Jani, our Editor-in-Chief, pulled out a photograph that was all shades of being pookie. The picture featured Vedang and Alia Bhatt during the Singapore schedule of Jigra. At first glance, it looked like a beautifully framed photograph. Then Vedang explained what was happening behind the camera, and suddenly it became even more adorable!
According to him, the picture was taken on the very last day of filming in Singapore. The cast and crew were sitting near the Merlion when a photographer suggested taking a few photographs.
Except this particular frame happened because of Alia!
In the image, Vedang stands prominently in the foreground while Alia Bhatt appears further behind. It looks intentional because it was. Vedang revealed that the entire idea came from Alia herself. She told him to step forward and have his moment.
