PM Modi Sends Special Postcard For Skyroot’s Vikram-1 Space Mission
Ahead of the launch of Skyroot Aerospace’s Vikram-1 Test Flight-1, the private space company received a special message from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister sent a handwritten postcard carrying the words “Vande Mataram” along with his signature. The company said the card will travel to space and is one of the most meaningful items on board the flight.
As per IndiaTV, along with the postcard, the company is also sending handwritten messages from its team members, investors, policymakers and supporters. By sending these messages into space, the company aims to highlight the collective support behind the mission.

Know About Mission Aagman
Mission Aagaman is a major milestone for Skyroot Aerospace. The company named its Vikram-1 rocket after Dr Vikram Sarabhai, who is known as the father of India’s space programme. The rocket is made to carry small satellites that will weighing up to 350 kg into low Earth orbit.
Skyroot Aerospace has announced that it will launch Vikram-1 from the first launch pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre on July 18. If all goes as planned, this could become a big moment for India’s private space sector. According to the Free Press Journal, along with the postcards and messages, the rocket will also carry technology demonstration payloads from Grahaa Space, Cosmoserve, DCubed and Skyroot’s own SCOPE. It will also carry Cosmic Bloom, an artwork created by Cosmos Diamonds, along with a micro-art payload.
