Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar posted a video on his Instagram handle announcing that he will be attending the 17th Akshay Kumar International Kudo Tournament in Surat. In the caption, he wrote, “Surat, aa raha hoon phir ek baar at the 17th Akshay Kumar International Kudo Tournament on 30th October! Come, participate & feel the Kudo spirit!” He will be attending the event on October 30, 2025.
Are you wondering what exactly ‘Kudo’ is? It’s a Japanese full-contact martial art and combat sport that mixes different fighting styles. In the video, Akshay Kumar also revealed that in this tournament, over 2,000 Kudo athletes from 32 regions will participate. He also mentioned that it’s not just a competition but a celebration of the sport. This event will be organised by Mehul Vora Academy. The event will be held from October 29 to October 30 in Surat.

Akshay Kumar Kudo Tournament is one of the world’s largest tournaments for Kudo athletes. This tournament was founded by the Bollywood actor and Hanshi Mehul Vora in 2009 and till now have successfully completed 16 editions. At this event, competitors get to enjoy free stay, food, and participation. Every year, around 5,000 competitors participate and showcase their impressive skills.
This tournament also gives opportunities to athletes to get in touch with the top-tier martial arts experts. The aim of his tournament is to inspire, educate, and empower martial artists at every level while also creating a platform that celebrates Kudo.
