There are desserts you eat because they are on the menu. Then there are desserts that make you reconsider whether you needed the pizza in the first place. Tossin Pizza is now making a case for the latter with its new Classic Tiramisù, a 250 g Italian-inspired dessert that has taken the brand six months to develop!
Tossin Pizza Classic Tiramisù Takes Six Months To Get Right
The idea began in Treviso, in Italy’s Veneto region, where traditional tiramisù became a reference point for Tossin Pizza founder and Chef Rohit Narang. After travelling through Italy and other parts of the world, Rohit Narang approached the dessert like a classic that needed to be understood properly. The brief was not to make tiramisù louder; it was to make it right.
That means Italian Savoiardi biscuits, imported directly from Italy, meet premium mascarpone, freshly brewed espresso, eggs, cocoa and rum. The coffee has been kept deliberately smooth rather than intensely bitter, so the mascarpone and cocoa still get their moment. There is just 2 ml of rum per portion, adding warmth without making the dessert taste like someone accidentally poured a cocktail into it.And then there is the cocoa. Oh, oh!
Tossin does not simply finish the tiramisù with the usual layer of cocoa on top and call it a day. Cocoa is added after every layer of cream, allowing its bittersweet edge to run through the dessert. The result is meant to make every spoonful taste like the full combination of coffee, mascarpone and cocoa rather than a lucky scoop from the right corner.
The sweetness, too, has been held back. Espresso, mascarpone and cocoa are allowed to do most of the talking, giving the dessert an indulgent character without making it overwhelmingly sugary or heavy.

Tossin Pizza’s Classic Tiramisù Is Freshly Made
“Tiramisù has always been one of those desserts I personally keep going back to,” says Rohit Narang. “Travelling through Italy gave me an even deeper appreciation for how much character there can be in something that looks deceptively simple.”
For Tossin Pizza, this is also bigger than adding one more dessert to the menu. The Gurgaon-based gourmet QSR brand sees the launch as part of its shift towards a more ingredient-led, crafted experience. Each portion is assembled by hand using a standardised recipe and packed in the brand’s signature orange-and-white packaging. Since it is made fresh, Tossin recommends eating it immediately for the intended texture and flavour.
Priced at ₹399 plus taxes for 250 g, the Classic Tiramisù is a permanent addition to Tossin Pizza’s menu and is available across all Tossin Pizza outlets in Gurgaon.
