We come bearing good news for flyers travelling to and from Delhi-NCR! From June 16, commercial flight operations will officially begin at the newly inaugurated Noida International Airport in Jewar. Airlines such as IndiGo, Akasa Air, and Air India Express will commence domestic operations from the new airport. Here’s everything you need to know.
Commercial Flights To Begin From Noida Airport Soon
From June 15, the Noida International Airport will begin handling passenger, airline, and cargo operations across the NCR and North India region. According to Moneycontrol, IndiGo will operate the first flight from the airport on the same day. The airport operator, Yamuna International Airport Pvt. Ltd., has also shared that airlines such as Akasa Air and Air India Express will begin operations from June 16.
IndiGo is set to operate 16 routes from the airport, five of which will commence in June, with the remaining routes rolling out in July. Daily flights will connect Noida to cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Amritsar. More destinations, including Srinagar, Jodhpur, Bhopal, and Dehradun, will be added by July 1, 2026.
Ticket sales for all airlines are now live. The inaugural IndiGo flight is scheduled to operate from Lucknow to Noida, landing at 8:05 AM, followed by an outbound flight to Bengaluru at 8:35 AM.

Here’s What The Flight Schedule Looks Like
Akasa Air will commence daily direct flights connecting Noida International Airport with Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai. On the Bengaluru route, flight QP 1575 will depart Bengaluru at 4:25 PM and arrive in Noida at 7:15 PM. The return service QP 1576 will depart Noida at 7:55 PM and arrive in Bengaluru at 11:00 PM.
For Navi Mumbai, flight QP 2017 will depart Navi Mumbai at 7:25 AM and land in Noida at 9:35 AM. The return flight, QP 2018, will take off from Noida at 10:15 AM and arrive in Navi Mumbai at 12:30 PM. According to Akasa Air, all services on both routes will operate daily and non-stop.
International flight operations are likely to begin around Diwali this year, by which time domestic and cargo services are expected to be fully streamlined.
