In the post the actor mentioned that he had an early morning flight from the airport, and during this visit he noticed something worth appreciating. He said he had nothing but respect for the CISF team there. According to him, the personnel were calm, alert, and highly professional. He also mentioned that they ensured every passenger felt safe without creating unnecessary hassle or confusion during the security process.

Airport Not Designated As A “Point Of Call”
Rajya Sabha MP Satnam Singh Sandhu raised concerns about Chandigarh International Airport not being designated as a “point of call.” According to Hindustan Times, he said the airport, which currently has flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, is operating below capacity due to this status, affecting international connectivity for passengers.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu said the government will review traffic at the airport before granting the designation. He added that Indian carriers can still operate international flights from Chandigarh under existing agreements, and the airport already has international connectivity.
