Ahmedabad is home to a newly-launched place for families, friends, and especially tech lovers. The Spectra Art and Technology Museum opened in the city on November 20, 2025, and the best part is that it’s India’s first multi-sensory museum experience. In this museum, for 90 minutes, visitors can feel like they’re stepping into different worlds.

From various rooms, exhibits, illusions, to light installations, visitors can explore every corner and even touch the walls. What happens next will surprise you. These walls respond to movement and can even scan drawings or handwriting to project them magically. Kids and adults will love seeing their sketches come to life.

Multiple-Themed Zones

To make your experience memorable, Spectra has multiple themed zones. These include Cortex, where lights, sounds, scents, and touch come alive, making it feel like a playground for your senses. Chronicle lets you draw, animate, and see your sketches come to life on big screens. Saga mixes VR and games, so you can guide your own avatar through a magical world.

When you enter the Laurel zone, you’ll feel like you just walked into a digital garden with interactive petals, plants, and holograms. Also, zones like Celestial, Glimmer, Lime, and Vortex are full of cool surprises and amazing visuals. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, this museum promises unforgettable memories, making it one of Ahmedabad’s most exciting new attractions.

If you’re planning to visit this newly launched museum by air, it’s just 18 km from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport. The Thaltej metro station is also close by, only 1.7 km away. Moreover, cabs and rickshaws are easily available in the city and can drop you right at the museum’s entrance.
