Wishing PM Modi on social media, Alia Bhatt revealed that she will be joining her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, on a special initiative. The couple will support the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and refurbish 20 BMC schools in Mumbai. However, they will not be the ones to select the schools. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will recommend schools that need refurbishment work.
With this special initiative, the couple wants to provide better and properly equipped schools for future generations. In her post, she wrote, “Happy Birthday to our Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi ji! Wishing you a healthy and fulfilling year ahead. The spirit of #SevaSankalpAbhiyaan reflects a wonderful vision of collective action and giving back. To mark this day and support the cause, Ranbir and I are pledging to refurbish 20 schools as per the recommendations of @mybmc, helping create brighter, better-equipped spaces for our children to learn and thrive.”
