All Work Complete At Ayodhya’s Ram Temple; From Jatayu Statue To Tulsidas Chamber, 10 New Highlights For Devotees

One of the most popular temples in India—Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which was inaugurated back in 2024, has now wrapped up its remaining work. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced that all main construction work at the temple in Ayodhya is now complete. Keep reading to know more details.

Ram Temple In Ayodhya Fully Ready For Devotees

The main construction work at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is now fully complete. According to Hindustan Times, the temple complex, which includes the Panchvati area, new temples, and statues, is fully ready for devotees to visit. Only a few projects, which are not related to temple complex and devotees, such as the boundary wall, trust office, guest house, and auditorium, are still under completion.

Last year, in 2024, at the grand ceremony of Ram Temple, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and several dignitaries made their appearance. Now, as the remaining work wraps up, PM Modi is expected to return to Ayodhya on November 25 to hoist a flag atop the temple.

All The New Features Of The Temple

Now that the Ram Temple is fully ready, here are all the things you can expect to witness on your visit. According to the temple trust, all major structures inside the complex are ready. This includes the main temple of Lord Ram and six smaller temples. These temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Suryadev, Goddess Bhagwati, Goddess Annapurna, and Sheshavatar.

According to Hindustan Times, devotees will now also get to see several new additions to the temple premises. There are seven new temples dedicated to Maharishi Valmiki, Vashistha, Vishwamitra, Agastya, Nishadraj, Shabari, and Ahalya. There is also a new temple for Saint Tulsidas, who wrote the Ramcharitmanas. The complex now features beautifully sculpted statues of Jatayu and the squirrel from the Ramayana. The squirrel played a crucial role in helping Lord Ram’s army build the bridge to Lanka. These statues add symbolic and devotional value to the site.

A 10-acre Panchvati complex has also been built within the temple grounds. Not only this, GMR Group is constantly working to add greenery across the complex. Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is taking care of the road construction and paving across the temple premises.
