Ashish Vidyarthi Injured In Late-Night Guwahati Road Accident, Confirms He & Wife Are Safe

Veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi recently worried his fans after sharing that he and his wife, Rupali Barua, were injured in a traffic accident in Guwahati. The incident happened late on Friday night and immediately made headlines. However, the actor has now addressed the matter and assured everyone that he and his wife are safe and doing well.

According to reports, Ashish Vidyarthi and Rupali Barua were crossing the road after dinner when a speeding motorcycle suddenly hit them. The accident occurred in front of the Guwahati Address Hotel when a bike was coming from the Chandmari side at a very high speed. The impact of the collision injured not just the actor and his wife but also the motorcycle rider. Locals ran to help and alerted the police right away.

Soon after, officials from the Geetanagar police station reached the spot. The injured biker was taken to Gauhati Medical College Hospital, while Ashish Vidyarthi and Rupali were also shifted to the hospital for medical care. On Saturday, the actor posted on Instagram from the hospital, calmly explaining what had happened and how they were doing.

In the video, he confirmed that both he and Rupali are fine and that their injuries are minor. Ashish Vidyarthi shared that Rupali Barua has been kept under medical observation as a safety measure, but there is no cause for concern. He also spoke about his own condition and said, “I’ve had a small injury, but that’s it. I’m absolutely fine. I am walking, talking, standing, everything is normal.”

He Also Thanked Family And Emergency Staff

The actor made it clear that while the accident did happen, it should not be blown out of proportion. Showing concern for everyone involved, Ashish Vidyarthi revealed that he checked with the police about the condition of the bike rider. The police informed him that the rider has regained consciousness and is receiving treatment.

Ashish Vidyarthi also thanked the hospital staff, emergency responders, family members, and friends who have been by their side since the accident. He mentioned that they are being taken very good care of and are surrounded by loved ones. “Please share this video so people know that we are well. Your good wishes are with us. We are being taken very good care of by the emergency staff,” he said.

The actor’s video brought much-needed relief to fans who had been worried after seeing alarming headlines.
