Ashmit Patel’s First Impression Of Navi Mumbai Airport

Taking to his social media handle, Ashmit Patel shared his first impression of Navi Mumbai International Airport. In the video, he said he was excited not just about the airport’s interior and exterior, but also about the landing experience. The reason was the airport’s location, which is surrounded by lush greenery and hills. However, foggy weather spoiled the view, and he could not enjoy it much.
Ashmit then spoke about the terminal building. He said he expected to feel impressed by the architecture, but that did not happen. According to him, there was no architectural brilliance, and the interior also felt quite basic. He added that the overall vibe of the airport did not feel welcoming.
He also pointed out issues with basic facilities, saying, “basic facilities were missing”. Mobile network and internet connectivity were poor, which made the experience inconvenient. When it came to food, Ashmit felt disappointed. As an international airport, he expected more food outlets and brand options, but only one or two cafes were open.

Transportation Problem Outside Airport
Transport was another challenge. He shared that finding a cab was difficult, and the system did not feel smooth or organised. Despite highlighting these issues, Ashmit remained hopeful. He said that this Mumbai airport is still a work in progress and believes that in the coming years, Navi Mumbai International Airport will improve and eventually charm travellers.
