An X user, Ashwin Kumar Uppala (@ashwinexe), recently took to his social media handle to share one of those classic “peak Bengaluru” moments. He posted pictures of a local fruit cart stacked with watermelons and papayas. However, what truly caught everyone’s attention was the note placed on the cart.

The note read, “Hi, I’m Karthik. I promised him this poster will increase sales. Please buy fruits from him.” The message was simple and had nothing fancy about it, yet people loved the honesty and the subtle humour in the words. Ashwin shared the images with the caption, “This was today’s @peakbengaluru. Love it!”, and the post quickly resonated with social media users.
