Content Creator Shares Disappointing Experience At Bengaluru’s Basque Bakery

Content creator (@my__p.o.v__/) took to her social media handle to share her experience at Basque Bakery in Bengaluru. In the video, she revealed that her experience at the bakery was disappointing. She complained about the portion sizes, food quality, and prices.

In the video, she mentioned that she was asked to pay ₹1,000 per person as part of the reservation policy. She also claimed that the menu did not display the prices. According to her, the portion served was really small, and the taste did not meet her expectations. Sharing the bill, she claimed that she ended up paying ₹5,250 for just two desserts.

The Bakery Reacts To The Claims

After the video about Bengaluru’s Basque Bakery went viral, the brand reacted and shared a statement on its social media handle. According to the bakery, it provides a digital menu with complete descriptions of the desserts, along with images and clearly mentioned prices. The bakery also stated that the portion sizes are exactly as shown on its social media pages and menu photos.

As for the ₹1,000 reservation fee, the bakery clarified that it is fully redeemable against the final bill. Guests can also view the complete menu, reservation policy, and pricing through the link available on its social media handle. While addressing the claims, the bakery also referred to the content creator as an “illegitimate influencer” and called the reel a “defamatory” post.
