When we attend an event, all we expect is some laughs, good food, and a fun time. But the reality is, things don’t always go as planned. Sometimes, even basic issues can spoil the entire vibe. And clean washrooms are one of the biggest reasons this happens, because many event venues still don’t take them seriously. Something similar happened in Delhi at a Zakir Khan show, and a wellness coach spoke about it on Instagram. Keep reading for more details.
Delhi Woman Calls Out Bad Washrooms At Zakir Khan Show
A wellness coach, Mitushi Ajmera (@coach_mitushi), attended Zakir Khan’s live stand-up show at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Delhi. She went with high energy and excitement, but she came back disappointed. Mitushi shared a video on Instagram talking about how the washroom situation completely ruined her mood. She mentioned that most washrooms were closed, and the open ones were in a very dirty condition.
In her video, she said that 30-40 women were standing in line, including pregnant ladies, and they had no choice but to use those unhygienic toilets. Seats were broken, flush systems were not working, and the hygiene was very poor. She also added that as a coach, she often comes across issues where people avoid drinking water while attending events to avoid using the loo. These types of situations cause UTIs, kidney issues, and dehydration. Further, Mitushi questioned why basic facilities like toilets were not maintained at such a large-scale event.
Here’s How Netizens React
The video slamming the washroom facilities at one of Delhi’s most popular venues quickly went viral online. Many women commented, after relating her issues.
One user wrote, “So true. Had the same experience at a Diljit Dosanjh concert.”
Another user said, “This is just so sad. Clean toilets are basic. I’ve stayed dehydrated and left home early so many times at such events, and it’s even more concerning that pregnant women had to go through this!”
Another person agreed, writing, “I was there too, and this is actually a very serious concern.”
One Instagram user also commented, “This is so shocking and shameful on the management or whoever is responsible for this.”
