Taking to her X handle, Nalini Unagar (@NalinisKitchen) shared her experience with the IRCTC app while booking train tickets. She said that at around 10 o’clock, the website showed 68 seats available. However, just two minutes later, when she tried again, it showed “REGRET,” meaning no seats were available.
In the, she also expressed frustration and said she does not understand how people manage to use the IRCTC app for bookings. She added that the app keeps loading every time she tries to use it, making the process difficult and stressful for her.
IRCTC responded to this post and wrote, “We understand your concern. The IRCTC website/app is accessed by lakhs of users simultaneously, so availability may change within milliseconds due to parallel usage.”
