3 Effective Diet Strategies To Follow
Here are three simple strategies you can follow to get back to your fitness track.
1. Flip the food ratio
During Diwali, most people consume lots of sweets, fried snacks, and starchy foods while neglecting protein and vegetables. Raj suggests flipping this ratio for the next week. Focus on eating more protein and vegetables while reducing sugary, fatty, and starchy foods.
2. Move a little more
Physical activity is another way to reset your system. The fitness trainer recommends moving a bit more than usual, not just to burn calories, but to use that extra energy productively. Whether it’s lifting weights, playing a sport, running, or dancing, exercising strengthens the body and improves overall performance.
3. Clear out leftover festive food
Lastly, he advises getting rid of leftover Diwali treats. Either toss them away or share them with someone who will genuinely enjoy them. Keeping them at home can lead to slow, mindless eating over time.
