In many households, the mango season has officially ended, while in some places it is nearing its end. When you think of mangoes, you usually think about the different dishes you can make with them. As for the mango kernel, or gutli, we scrape off the remains and then throw it away. But what Uorfi Javed did with mango kernels took us by surprise. Read on to know more!
What Uorfi Javed Did With Mango Gutli?
Uorfi Javed is known for her unique fashion choices. She has often shared on social media how she creates dresses from things most people would never think of using. Recently, the content creator and actor took to her social media handle to showcase a new dress she made, and guess what was the highlight? Mango gutlis!
In the video, she asked how many gutlis there were, to which another person replied to just eat the mangoes and not count the gutlis. But it seems Uorfi had something different in mind. After cutting the mangoes and collecting the gutlis, the creator washed them and painted them using an eyeshadow palette.
How Mango Gutlis Became A Fashion Statement
She painted over 11 gutlis in orange and pink colours and one gutli in a green shade. After that, she took a strapless black dress and arranged the 11 gutlis on one side of it. She then attached a green lace and connected it to the single green gutli on the other side. This addition to the black dress was absolutely jaw-dropping!
This is not the first time Uorfi has made a dress or decorated an outfit with the food item. Earlier, she made headlines for her Rajma and cake dress too.
