Indian Railways Changes Timings Of 2 Vande Bharat Trains From Varanasi
In a recent update, Indian Railways has revised the timings of two Vande Bharat trains running from Varanasi. According to NDTV, the new timings will come into effect from September 2, 2026. The trains whose timings have been changed operate on the Varanasi-Ranchi and Varanasi-Deoghar routes.
Under the new schedule, both trains will leave 10 minutes earlier than their current departure times. The Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express (20888) currently leaves Varanasi at 4:05 PM, which will change to 3:55 PM from September 2. The Varanasi-Deoghar Vande Bharat Express (22500) will also leave earlier. The train currently departs from Varanasi at 6:20 AM, which will change to 6:10 AM.

Timings At Other Stations Will Remain Unchanged
If you’re planning to travel on these two trains from Varanasi, then there is one thing you should know. NDTV reported that only the departure timings from Varanasi have been changed. The scheduled timings at the other stations and destinations will remain unchanged.
A 10-minute change may seem small, but it can be enough to make you miss your train. Passengers travelling on these Vande Bharat Express trains should check the revised timings and reach Varanasi station a little earlier to avoid any last-minute hassle.
