Varanasi To Enjoy Its First-Ever Air Show
Varanasi is excited to enjoy its first-ever air show for three days. According to Swarajyamag report, this spectacular show will take place on October 22, 23 and 25. As per officials, over 20 lakh people are expected to gather to enjoy this memorable show. This air show event will take place over the Ganges, with aerial performances from Namo Ghat to Assi Ghat.
For this event, more than three dozen aircraft will be used. The line-up will include Rafale fighter jets, Tejas fighters, Rudra helicopters, C-295 aircraft and Dakota aircraft. Viewers will also get to see the famous Surya Kiran aerobatic team performing.

Where Are The Timings Of The Three-Day Air Show?
The thrilling air show in Varanasi will take place between noon and 2 pm on all three days. The show will continue for about 90 minutes, and three to five aircraft will perform aerial manoeuvres over the river at the same time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to arrive as the chief guest on the last day, along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and senior military officials.
For the event, Suryakiran jets will take off from Varanasi Airport, while other aircraft will take off from nearby places. The Air Force will start preparations at Namo Ghat, the main control centre, from October 16, restricting public access. Rehearsals for the event will begin on October 20 and continue until October 22. During this time, the Rajghat Bridge and boat services on the Ganges will remain closed. Around 5,000 VIP guests from India and abroad are also expected to attend the event.
