What Is Bhasma Aarti?
The famous Bhasma Aarti takes place every morning at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The temple is home to one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is also the only Jyotirlinga where Lord Shiva is worshipped as Mahakal, the “King of Time.”
