Indian Flag Helps Students From Pakistan & Turkey Cross Ukraine Borders Safely

Amid the escalated conflict between Ukraine and Russia, stranded students from not just India, but also Pakistan and Turkey have expressed that the Indian national flag has come to their rescue. India’s national tricolour has helped even Pakistani and Turkish students to safely cross the various checkpoints in war-torn Ukraine. Read on to know more.

Stranded Turkish & Pakistani Students Take Help Of Indian Flag In Ukraine

Indian students who reached Bucharest in Romania after crossing Ukraine borders revealed that the national tricolour helped them reach their destination safely. And it’s not just Indians. The Indian national flag also came to the rescue of Pakistani and Turkish students who could safely cross the Ukraine borders. An Indian student who safely returned back home revealed to ANI that they put two Indian flags in front of the bus in Ukraine. Thanks to this, they were able to get free clearance.

Indian Students Spray Painted Tricolour On Bus Curtains

Another student stated to ANI that he ran to the closest shop, bought 6 spray paint cans and painted the Indian flag on the bus curtain. The students also sang the national anthem. This made the army understand that they were from India. As a result, the army realised they were stranded students from India and let them leave safely. The Indian students crossed the Ukraine border to reach Romania’s Bucharest. They hopped on evacuation flights from Air India, IndiGo and SpiceJet operated under “Operation Ganga” to safely reach back home.
