A woman based in Melbourne was travelling to India recently. She was on her way to visit Delhi and meet her family after a long time. The Indian-origin woman booked a Qantas Airways flight ticket for this journey. Though she boarded the plane properly, she soon fell on the floor of the aircraft and died tragically. The news of her demise has shocked everyone. People are frightened regarding what triggered the unfortunate scare on a flight packed with other passengers.

Identified as Manpreet Kaur, the young woman was travelling to Delhi from Melbourne on June 20. She was visiting India to meet her family. According to a report by The Times of India, she was on her way to India after four years. The unfortunate incident took place after she boarded the plane in Melbourne. Reports state that there was no serious health issue while boarding but she fell terribly sick on the aircraft.

Manpreet began to face problems to put on the seatbelt. Suddenly, the 24-year-old woman collapsed on the floor of the Qantas Airways flight. Seeing her in this life-threatening incident, cabin crew members rushed to her. Emergency assistance and medical help were provided immediately. The heartbreaking incident was reported to have taken place even before the flight departed Melbourne. Unfortunately, the passenger lost her life right at the spot.

Back in March 2024, Manpreet shifted to Australia from India, according to a report by The Indian Express. She was on her way to meet her parents for the first time in over four years. This was the main purpose of her visit to her homeland.

Gurdip Grewal, a friend of Manpreet, stated that she was feeling sick even before she reached the airport. Though she did not feel good, she decided to embark on the journey to meet her family in Delhi. According to a report by the Herald Sun, the victim lost her life because of tuberculosis.
