The conversation around mental health is happening now, more than ever. And to help people come out of their shells and give therapy a chance, a cafe in Mohali has initiated therapy along with their food offerings. The cafe, named as ‘
Your Sugar Daddy’ was started by a 21-year-old psychology student, wherein people get the chance to talk about their mental health while at the cafe.

Inspired By 3 Idiots, Psychology Student Starts Mental Health Cafe

Angel D’Souza came up with this unique concept after watching the film, 3 idiots. This helped her initially to come up with the cafe. In an interview with a noted media portal, Angel said that she always wanted to help people speak about their mental health. She believes the stigma around mental health issues still exists in society.

Pet-Friendly Cafe

Can therapy be complete if not without pets? Well, this cafe in Mohali is a pet-friendly one and customers can take their pets to spend some time there. The cafe also has a contemporary decor with a mental health wall of positivity, which aims to make the customers feel good and positive while at the cafe.

Your Sugar Daddy Cafe Introduced Dog Therapy

Angel started dog therapy so that her customers can have a wholesome experience. She aims to convert the cafe into a space where people come, eat and heal.

Apart from starting the cafe, Angel’s Instagram profile shows how passionate of a baker she is. The birthday cakes, little occasion cakes are colourful and such a delight to see, let alone eat.
