IRCTC is leaving no stones unturned to promote domestic tourism. It has recently launched many exciting packages including a Kashmir package and Vaishno Devi tour package. And now, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation is starting a special ‘Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra’ train that will take devotees to the four Jyotirlinga shrines including Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Somnath, and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga temples.

Jyotirlinga or Jyotirlingam is a devotional representation of Lord Shiva. There are 12 Jyotirlinga temples in India – Mallikarjuna, Rameshwaram Jyotirlinga, Kedarnath, Bhimashankar, Vishwanath, Trimbakeshwar, Ghrishneshwar Jyotirlinga, and Vaidyanath or Baijnath in Deogarh. However, the IRCTC’s Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra train will facilitate travel to just four destinations.

The 11 Day & 10 Nights Package Costs ₹10,395 Per Person
While the special train will start at Prayagraj, pilgrims can board the train at several stations including Prayag, Pratapgarh, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Lucknow, Kanpur, Etawah, Bhind, Gwalior, as well as Jhansi. The Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra train will also take passengers to Dwarka, Ahmedabad, and the Statue of Unity in Baroda. Additionally, you can also City Palace, Saheliyon Ki Bari, and the Maharana Pratap Memorial in Udaipur.

The train also takes you to Gujarat and Udaipur, apart from the four Jyotirlinga temples. And the 10 nights and the 11-day package has been priced at ₹10,395 per person.
