Bengaluru and filter kaapi is a match made in heaven. Ask me, a fellow Bengalurean! My day begins and ends with a cup of frothy, divine, filter coffee. Well aware of residents’ inevitable kaapi addiction, Bangalore Thindies, a South Indian eatery is guilty of luring commuters with a 3D billboard advertising filter coffee on the highway. Amid Netizens debating on the authenticity of the billboard, this is a crime that we coffee lovers don’t mind.

@ksvenu247 in his caption tells Netizens that they can sip hot coffee from the skies and calls it a “next level of advertisement in Bangalore”. The impressive billboard gives a three-dimensional effect to the waiter standing just metres above the ground, it’s an eye-catching illusion that transports you to a darshini. I’m not going to lie, it left me craving a cup of filter coffee! I wouldn’t be surprised if commuters glancing at the billboard would make a detour just for a cup of coffee. That’s fair enough, right?!
Bangalore Thindies, shared a reel of their innovative billboard on Instagram. The South Indian restaurant chain announced the opening of three new locations at Manyata Tech Park, Kumara Park and Seshadripuram. And urged Netizens to visit their locations for filter coffee and good Podi Masala. This 3D billboard sparked a debate on social media on whether it’s an actual hoarding or a CG creation. Nevertheless, it did its job of capturing the attention of foodies.
