While historically renowned for its significance in India’s defence sector, Gujarat’s Jamnagar is on the world map. Now, for ten days, the Jamnagar airport will be open to foreign travel, allowing the Ambani-Merchant families to host prominent figures from around the world, including Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Rihanna, Ivanka Trump, and several previous prime ministers.
Jamnagar Airport Given International Status

There are no more than six arrivals at Jamnagar’s little airport on any other day. However, over 200 private jets carrying over 2,000 global tycoons and well-known guests will land at the airport between Friday and Sunday. These people are attending Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding celebrations. Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, and one of the richest people in the world.
The airport is open to receiving foreign aircraft from February 25 to March 5. The ministries of home affairs, finance, and health of the union government have mobilised resources to establish a Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ) facility at the airport. Additionally, the airport has increased staffing in every vertical. For this purpose, a passenger terminal building has been constructed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). But for the unique festivities of billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son.
Rihanna’s visit to Jamnagar Airport was monumental. On Friday, the airport was set to receive guests such as Ivanka Trump, Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and more. Among the well-known Indians are Deepika Padukone, M.S. Dhoni, Sania Nehwal, Ranveer Singh, and Shah Rukh Khan.
The next busiest day for the airport after Friday, when the majority of visitors are anticipated to depart, is now March 4.

On Friday night, Rihanna dazzled the crowd with her incredible performance in India. The music artist, who attended the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, is currently trending on the internet. She was spotted performing some of her greatest hits, such as Diamonds, Wild Things, Rude Boy, Pour it Up, and so forth.
Shining in a glittering gown that complemented her brilliant green bodycon suit, Rihanna interacted elegantly with well-known guests at Mukesh Ambani’s son’s pre-wedding celebrations. She left for Jamnagar, Gujarat, on February 29 along with her crew and a large 12-foot suitcase. The singer left India on Saturday morning after her performance.
