Kashmir will soon witness a momentous occasion in the union territory’s growth. The Union territory will soon get its Vistadome. On October 19, Kashmir’s first Vistadome coach to run between Budgam and Baramulla stations will be inaugurated. According to the officials, once all the required preparations have been completed, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha or the Union Railway Minister will inaugurate this train.

Indian Railways’ state-of-the-art Vistadome carriage is intended to provide passengers with both increased viewing capabilities and a comfortable travel experience.
Rising Kashmir was informed by a top officer who wished to remain anonymous that all preparations for the October 19th launch of the Vistadome bus have been finished. He stated that Northern Railways had successfully completed a trial run from Budgam to Baramulla, under the supervision of senior railway authorities.
According to the official, Northern Railways will determine the Vistadome coach ticket prices following its launch next week. The ticket prices have not yet been disclosed by the authorities. According to the official, this unique couch has rotatable chairs, LED lighting, an integrated GPS-based information system, and extra-large glass windows.
Because of its spinning chairs, glass ceiling, LED lighting, and GPS-based information system, both tourists and locals will find the trip entertaining and comfortable. According to the official, this couch will have additional advantages to boost travel to Kashmir.
According to Railways officials, the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai produced the Vistadome coach at an estimated cost of approximately ₹4 crore. It has rotating seating, LED lighting, extra-large glass windows, and an integrated GPS-based information system.
Travelers will be relieved that it will protect them from the summer’s intense heat and the winter’s bone-biting cold. (As per Rising Kashmir)

Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Route
The country’s first indigenous semi-high-speed train will soon operate on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail route, according to an announcement made by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw earlier in March. The train is expected to start running before the end of the year.
Additionally, he stated that the Jammu-Srinagar, Udhampur-Banihal track would be finished by December of this year or early in 2019. Around 30,000 passengers each day, including commuters and students, travel on 19 rail services, including 7 trains, on the Baramulla-Banihal section of Jammu & Kashmir.
In 2013, the first rail service in Kashmir was launched, and Manmohan Singh, the prime minister at the time, commemorated the occasion.
The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway (USBRL) track, an important undertaking to link Kashmir with the rest of the nation, is under the control of the Northern Zone of Indian Railways’ Firozpur Railway division.` (As per Rising Kashmir)
