Amusement parks are a lot of fun. If you’re looking to spend quality time with your family and also create new and memorable moments, amusement parks are the most accessible choice for a lot of people. Especially since not all families can afford to go on bougie vacations to foreign countries, and so, amusement parks are the relatively more affordable option for many. Recently the Panvel Municipal Corporation or the PMC approved a plan to develop a site in Kharghar as an Amusement park.
Kharghar’s 1st Amusement Park To Be Developed Soon
In a piece of news that is no doubt bound to excite the people living in the Panvel and Kharghar region, it seems that the locality might soon get an amusement park. Owing to the constant efforts of the Kharghar-Taloja Welfare Association, the PMC has approved the development of an amusement park.
The site on which the amusement park will be developed is plot number 1 located in Sector 35 of Kharghar. It is opposite the Sai Wonder and Sai Haridra, according to an article recently published by The Free Press Journal.
The plan was approved by Ganesh Deshmukh and Kailas Gawde who are the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of the PMC respectively. As per the article, the project will cost around ₹6 crore. The article also mentions that residents actively followed up with the PMC.

1st Under The PMC Jurisdiction
This particular amusement park will be the very first which will be under the jurisdiction of PMC. The FPJ article mentions that there will be a number of recreational spots in the park where people can relax. Among other things, it will also have a toy train that will pay homage to the different places in Panvel. They should consider naming it Pan-rail.
The place will also be an ideal location for family picnic spots since the rates are also going to be reasonable. Additionally, it will also have a number of entertainment spots.
