King Charles III is on a trip to Bengaluru along with his wife Queen Camilla. This would be the very first time that the monarch is visiting the Silicon Valley of India since his coronation on May 6, 2023. He was taken directly to the Soukya International Holistic Health Centre or the SIHHC in Whitefield. Here are all of the other important details that you would need to know about his secret trip to India.
King Charles III And Queen Camilla Are In Bengaluru
According to an article which was recently published by The New Indian Express or the TNIE, this trip of the monarch is strictly under wraps. His stay will keep him here until the night of Wednesday, October 30, 2024. He arrived in Bengaluru straight from Samoa.
There, he was attending the 2024 Commonwealth Heads Of Government Meeting. This meeting was held from October 21, 2024, to October 26, 2024. When arrived in Bengaluru, he was joined by his wife, Queen Camilla.
As per the TNIE article, the couple start their day with morning yoga. They then have breakfast and rest for a bit. Then, they have another round of therapy and end their day with another meditation session. In addition to this, the couple also enjoy long walks around the campus. They go to bed around 9 PM.
His Visits To The Silicon Valley Prior To This Secret One
This is not the first that King Charles III is visiting SIHHC in Bengaluru. He has been to the facility nine times prior to this. Out of these nine times, he has celebrated Diwali here three times. In November 2019, he even celebrated his birthday at this facility!
Given the high-profile and secretive nature of this visit, the facility is surrounded by security. It is hoped that both, the queen’s as well as his stay is tranquil and he finds the peace that he is looking for.
