This tramcar restaurant sits in front of the Mother’s Wax Museum, near Gate Number 2 of New Town’s Eco Park, which houses replicas of the 7 wonders of the world. The development of the eatery took place under the Newtown Kolkata Development Authority ( NKDA). Foodies can enjoy the city’s diverse variety of street foods and the Kolkata Chinese cuisine inside this tramcar.

The Tram Restaurant Has Elements Of Calcutta In The 1970s
The ambience, as well as the dishes at the eatery, impart a nostalgic charm to the patrons of the city. Not only does the tram hold the old-world vibe, but the pillars and surroundings are also given touches of Calcutta in the 1970s with cartoons, posters of old films, illustrations of yellow taxis, double-decker buses, rickshaws and much more.
