It has only been a couple of weeks since the South Indian restaurant opened in Kolkata’s Sector V. Within this short time, Mysore Canteen has won foodies’ hearts with its delectable spread of delights. If you are like me and planning to visit here to savour finger-licking South Indian dishes, make sure to reach out early as it often stays crowded with customers waiting to indulge in a feast.

This new hotspot in the City of Joy is impressing foodies with Karnataka-style preparations. From using proper ingredients to the cooking methods, every step in the overall process helps to obtain the desired authentic taste. Each bite of dosa, idli, utthapam, palkova, and other delicacies feels like being transported to South India and soaking in local flavours and aromas.

Chef Rahul Arora and his team have curated an excellent menu serving the best of South Indian cuisine. Apart from the most famous preferences for idli and dosa, there are some lesser-known yummy additions to the menu as well. Head to Mysore Canteen at the earliest and gorge on a fantastic feast.

Begin your gastronomic feast with a Filter Coffee and explore the menu relishing Ghee Podi Idli and Ghee Masala Dosa. The menu also features Mysore Bonda, Vada, Bisi Bele Bath, Rava Idli, Onion Uthappam, and loads of varieties of dosas and idlis.

I am always ready to grab an extra bite of sweets even after being full. If you too love sweets like me, make sure to order Mysore Palkova, Cold Badam Milk, and Pineapple Sheera.
