La Petite Maison, Riyadh Just Got A Sleek New Look & A Menu Upgrade!

In a city that practically births a new restaurant every Thursday, holding onto the crown of “favourite fine-dining spot” is no small feat. But La Petite Maison Riyadh? It’s not just holding it, it’s polishing it with confidence this time.

La Petite Maison Riyadh Gets A Chic New Look

Nestled in the ever-buzzing Al Olaya district, this French-Mediterranean beauty first made waves as one of the OG international fine-dining names to grace Saudi’s food scene. Years later, while many shiny new eateries have come and gone, this spot continues to attract Riyadh’s stylish crowd, like pastry lovers to a bougie croissant.

New Vibes, Same Swagger

Now, don’t panic. The food’s still incredible. But yes, the menu was revamped recently.

Cue: a fabulous upgrade by Sagrada, the design wizards who’ve turned the venue into a sun-drenched slice of the Côte d’Azur. The interiors now burst with bold colours, lush textures, and serious Riviera flair. And the pièce de résistance? A mesmerising mural by Sanja Kovačević, think French seaside meets contemporary chic.

Even the bar got a makeover. It now wears a deep burgundy shade, perfect for those sunset Aperol Spritz moments. The lounge area also boasts plush banquettes, practically begging you to cancel your plans and stay a little longer.

Let’s Talk Food, Shall We?

Now for the main event—le food. The updated menu delivers comfort, creativity, and just the right amount of culinary drama.

  • Homard Grillé et Rouille: Grilled Maine lobster, kissed with a lightly spiced rouille. It’s indulgent, flavourful, and guaranteed to turn your dining companion green with envy.
  • Cocotte de Loup de Mer: A bubbling dish of seabass slowly simmered in a zingy tomato and pepper sauce. Pure Mediterranean magic.
  • Risotto aux Morilles et Asperges: Creamy, dreamy, and loaded with morel mushrooms and asparagus. Basically, spring in a bowl.

And you simply must save space for dessert.

  • Omelette Norvégienne Exotique: A mango sorbet-stuffed baked Alaska that’ll have you writing love letters to your spoon.
  • Saint Honoré: Choux pastry, caramel crunch, and a wickedly rich hazelnut cream—don’t even think about sharing.

Fancy But Not Fussy

What makes La Petite Maison special? Whether you’re there for a midweek lunch or a full-blown celebration dinner, the vibe stays effortlessly elegant. The staff are charming, the dishes are consistent, and the atmosphere hits the sweet spot between chic and chill. It’s the kind of place where every table feels like the best seat in the house.
