Currently, there are many reports surfacing on the internet about the ongoing clashes in Lebanon. And tragically, these violent incidents have only increased in the past few days. As a result, countries like the UAE and Saudi Arabia have called for a ban on travel to Lebanon. Here’s all you need to know about this travel advisory issued by the countries.
UAE Issues Ban On Citizens Travelling To Lebanon

There is no secret that Lebanon has been in a state of crisis with communal clashes taking over the cities. As a result, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared a ban on travelling to Lebanon for citizens in the UAE. Keeping the prevailing situation in the country as a reason, the notification was posted on the official Twitter account, now known as X, of the ministry. As it happens, the authority has also provided the number, 0097180024, in case of emergency. As it happens, the ministry has also recommended the citizens use the Twajudi service, which is an initiative by them for offering essential support to Emiratis overseas.

Other Countries Also Issue Similar Guidelines
However, it’s not just the UAE that has called for this action. Countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar have also implemented similar travel restrictions to Lebanon. As it happens, recently, Saudi Arabia also called for its citizens to immediately leave Lebanon. In a report by Al Jazeera, the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Lebanon has urged its citizens to leave the country as soon as possible. They have especially been asked to avoid areas where there have been reports of armed clashes! In fact, Kuwait Embassy also asked its citizens to avoid travelling to Lebanon for security purposes. However, it must be mentioned that it did not ask them to leave the country.
These reports come as tragic incidents of violence keep increasing in the country. So, make sure to keep this notification in mind before you decide to travel to Lebanon.
