We are saddened to bear the heartbreaking news of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia’s mother, Madhavi Raje’s demise. On Wednesday morning, she took her last breath at AIIMS in New Delhi. It was at 9:28 AM when she passed away. It has been some time since she was facing some health issues and was suffering from several ailments.

Taking to the X platform, Royal Archives (@oroyalarchives) shared a photo of Her Highness Rajmata Madhavi Raje Scindia and offered deepest condolences.

Madhavi Raje was the Rajmata of the Gwalior Royal Family. Also, she was Nepal’s Prime Minister and Maharaja of Kaski’s great-granddaughter, according to a report by The Indian Express. Following the news of her passing away, an official statement has been released by the office of Jyotiraditya Scindia. The official statement stated that she was under treatment for the past few months at AIIMS in Delhi.

A source shared with the Press Trust of India (PTI) that Madhavi Raje suffered from pneumonia and sepsis as well before her demise. Sadly, the health conditions were quite critical during the past few months. Also, she was on ventilator support in the last few days, a source shared with Asian News International (ANI).

The news of Madhavi Raje’s demise has saddened many. From Ministers to Governors, everyone is taking to social media platforms to share their condolences to the family and everyone affected by this news at this hard time.

The Governor of Jharkhand took to the X platform to offer his condolences to the family members.

X user sushmayogesh (@shushma20031262) posted on the platform sharing her condolences to Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and praying for the departed soul.

Hardeep Singh Puri posted hearing the news of Madhavi Raje passing away and wished God give strength to the Union Minister at this difficult time.

S. Phangnon Konyak also shared condolences to the family members.
