Madhuri Grover Praises Air India For Serving Navratri Thali; Says, “No Other Airline Has Such Nuanced Food Option”

Hindus across India are celebrating Chaitra Navratri, a festival spanning nine days and nights devoted to revering Goddess Durga. Devotees mark these days holy by fasting known as Navratri Vrat where they only consume fresh fruits, non-root veggies, grains and dairy items. Ashneer Grover’s wife, Madhuri Jain Grover who is also fasting for Navratri was pleasantly surprised to be served Navratri thali on Air India. Here’s more to it.

Madhuri Grover Lauds Air India’s Navratri Fasting Thali

Madhuri Jain Grover took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a picture of her in-flight meal on Air India. The picture showed a bowl of chopped fresh fruits, a plate of sabudana cutlets, spiced potatoes and a bowl of plain yoghurt. In her caption, she wrote that she was highly impressed and surprised with the Air India flight attendant for serving her Navratri Thali as a meal.

When she informed the cabin crew she was fasting for Navratri, she was immediately serving a fasting thali.
Furthermore, Madhuri wrote that she has travelled across the world but no other airline has such nuanced food options. Every other airline offers Navratri fasting devotees just fruits, tea or coffee. She thanked Air India profusely for taking care of her.
Air India replied to her post. They thanked her for the kind words and stated they were delighted to hear she enjoyed the special meal. Moreover, Air India added that it strives to provide diverse meal options to accommodate the needs and preferences of its passengers.
