With just a few days remaining for the Maha Kumbh, devotees are heading to the spiritual fair in big numbers. To manage the influx of devotees, the Uttar Pradesh authorities and Prayagraj administration have issued new bathing and transportation rules. Scroll on to know all about the latest advisories.

New Advisory Issued For Devotees Heading To Maha Kumbh

According to the Hindustan Times, here are the latest advisories issued for devotees heading to attend Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj –

1. The Sangam and nearby ghats are for pilgrims travelling from the Parade Mela region to cool down.
2. The Jhunsi bathing ghats will be used by those coming from the Jhunsi fair region.
3. Devotees from the Arali side will have their own ghats in the area.
4. The fair area has been declared a ‘No Vehicle’ zone. People must park their vehicles in designated areas, and only emergency medical services, food delivery trucks, and logistics vehicles are an exception.
5. Vehicles with Maha Kumbh passes will not be allowed to enter the premises. They have been diverted and asked to park at designated areas as well.

Northern Railways Announced Special Vande Bharat Trains

To accommodate the massive rush, Northern Railways has announced a special Vande Bharat train service between New Delhi and Varanasi via Prayagraj. The Vande Bharat Special train no. 02252/02251 will run two trains on February 15, 16, and 17. These trains will run via Prayagraj and will facilitate a comfortable journey for those who are planning to visit the world’s largest spiritual gathering.
