Man’s Emotional Tribute To Father After He Retires From Kirana Shop
Dr Waheed Momin took to Facebook to share a wholesome tribute to his father who has officially “retired from his business of kirana shop.” In the post, the son mentions how his father is still not ready to bid farewell to his shop, even after working there for 33 years! Before that, he mentions, his father ran a “paan tapri for 13 years!” He also credits his mother to be the “mastermind” behind the opening of the grocery store.
In his post, the son mentions how due to his parent’s hard work and the grocery shop, he could finish his education without any financial crisis. He then went on to explain how his father only closed the grocery store on two days throughout the year to celebrate Eid with the family.
Dr Waheed even reminisced about his school days when he would help his parents around the store after school in this post. While he is sad that such a big part of his family’s life is coming to an end, he is happy that his father will finally be able to focus on his health. Finally, he hopes that his father “enjoys his retirement and leisure time and takes care of his health which he has always ignored for” the family.
