Chandra Mohan Nallur and Sargheve Sukumaran, the founders of Malayali Beer, were left with five massive containers of rice flakes due to their business operations. Unsure of what to do, they found inspiration in Komban, a UK-based beer crafted by Kochi native Vivek Pillai. With this idea, they partnered with Polish breweries to create a fusion lager blending Indian rice flakes with European hops—and Malayali Beer was born.
