There’s a special pre-festival event happening at the Granaries in Floriana on April 13th. Enjoyers of fireworks, visitors, families, photographers, and those interested in culture may all take in the breathtaking displays of aerial and ground pyrotechnic talent. The festival offers a chance to see fireworks against famous landmarks while exploring Malta and Gozo. It will take place in several locations throughout the islands. The celebration has a Pyro-musical competition every year, meaning that the pyrotechnics are choreographed to fit the beat of a song! Following that, prizes are given to the most outstanding displays.
The highlight of the festival is undoubtedly the breathtaking fireworks displays that illuminate the night sky. Additionally, the Malta Tourism Authority is holding the “Malta International Fireworks Festival 2023” Photo Competition. This thrilling competition aims to encourage photographers and fans to take breathtaking pictures of the captivating fireworks displays.
From its humble beginnings rooted in Malta’s rich cultural heritage to its present-day status as a world-class event, the festival continues to captivate audiences.
