There are only a few actors whose performances never disappoint us. No matter how the movie performs, the individual characters and power-packed performances always leave a mark on us. When talking of such actors in Bollywood, Manoj Bajpayee is one name that definitely tops the charts often. Especially after acting in more than 100 movies now, the purity of his talent knows no bounds. To tell us more about his journey in Bollywood as well as his personal life, Manoj Bajpayee joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, on this Sunday Brunch episode.
Manoj Bajpayee Talked About Intermittent Fasting
We were aware of his intermittent fasting routine, but what we didn’t know was how it started. When we asked Manoj Bajpayee about the last time he had dinner, he reminisced about his late grandfather, who was an extremely fit person. One fine day, he realised that he must follow his lifestyle in order to be healthy. While that was working wonders for him, he tweaked it a bit by fasting intermittently. Now, it has been 13–14 years since he has given up on dinner. It looks like Manoj has been fasting intermittently even before it was a trend.
Once we started indulging in Pan-Asian bites at ITC Maratha, we got to know that his wife, Shabana, decides what they eat whenever they go out. That brought us to his love story. We wanted to know all about it, and he started telling us how they met. When Hansal Mehta completed 100 episodes of Khana Khazana, he threw a party to which he and his wife were both invited. As soon as they started talking, they connected really well and talked every day for a while after that.
